What did Jesus do?
These people are whacked. For sure Jesus did not coexist with dinosaurs, let alone ride tyrannosauruses. In fact, there is a lot more evidence that dinosaurs existed and when they existed than that Jesus existed.
The scale is a bit off, too. The tyrannosaurus (not a ‘leviathan’, which means ‘whale’) should be many times the size of a human in the drawing. They probably weren’t chlorophyll green, either. But hey, you can make it up as you go, right?
Religious zealots say the darndest things
How very convenient. This site has compiled for us links to a great number of statements of bizarre religious belief of the christian fundamentalist persuasion, beliefs that ought to be seen as clearly incorrect by anybody with half their brain in, say, the nineteenth century.
But being religious is not about facts it’s about faith. And it’s not about thinking, it’s about being told what to think, told by religious leaders who have the prerogative to examine scriptures, other traditions, and their own self-serving opinions in order to synthesize—by cherry-picking quotations of their choice—what you will be told to believe.
My favorite example is the middle school that was turning out students who arrived at the high school thinking that the world is 3,000 years old. Hello?!? Even the most ardent fundamentalists don’t claim that civilization and written history preceded the creation of mankind. Get your stories right, asshole.

Girl’s eyes gouged in deadly ceremony
WELLINGTON (NZ): A 14-year-old who nearly died during an exorcism underwent emergency treatment after relatives scratched at her eyes to remove what they believed was a devil.
The girl, who had pieces scratched from her eyeballs, is a cousin of Janet Moses, a woman who died during the ceremony, conducted by a Maori family in Wainuiomata, near Wellington, on October 12.

It’s always good to read the bible with an open mind. You’ll find that in many places it really doesn’t say what the bible-spewers are claiming that it does.
Astrological basis of the jesus story
At first I saw the Youtube title of this video, “Should this video be banned?” and the intro saying it was likely to be flagged and removed, and I said to myself, “It wouldn’t do to post a video that is going to go ‘poof’.” Then I noticed that it’s been up there since June. I guess whatever vile and perverted things he said about the catholic church must have been sufficiently neutralized by that bleepage in the first part of the video.
Every child should hear this in a diversity class. Haha, that’ll never happen.
